Blog Evaluation
The blog was a good idea. It gaves the opportunity to express your own ideas. It did not a lot of time. But.... Some people delete the opinions (comments) which I think is not fair. The number of blog assignments was okay, the time until which they should be posted was also fair. Generally as I mentioned earlier it was a good idea. I do not know if I am going to keep posting new entries after this semester. In my opinion it only makes sense if the person does it on regular basis. When I finish this semester I do not know if I will find the time to do this. But it was very nice to write my own entries and then go to others people's blogs and read theirs opinion on the same topic (class activities for example). It was my last entry (at least in this year ;) Thank you everybody for reading and commentning my blog's entries. Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2008! Hmm... a year of my graduation! Good luck!
Poem
Hmm...
Management is the science
that allows us to understand human's nature
It is required to...
motivate...
To work together as the group
to accomplish desired goals
to create the opportunity
to be successfull
To be remembered
and to be somebody......
in the world in which
success is everything.

ABC of DISC
According to the test I was high D which - in my opinion is absolutly true. In theory I think that this kind of tests help to understand the nature of the man and allows the manager to make correct decisions whether or not particular person should perform particular task. On the other hand people and especially humar nature can change. Highly motivated people (employees) under the right leadership can change maybe not their nature but they can adjust themselves to particular task. But as I mentioned earlier it is good to know the theory because it decreses the probability of making the mistakes. Should we use these "people's types" when we date somebody? Hmm.. I think thaty we should not. In my opinion the whole beauty of dating is to explore and discover the nature of the partner. Sometimes the science theory put between the human relationships is misleading and simply doesn't work. I think that friendship and love have thier own ways, and the science should not be involved.

Class Activity # 2
Decision making process.... Hmmm. Honestly, I did not know hwo hard and streeful can it be. It was very helpful and good experience to be a member of group of eighty people that have to agree on a particular issue. A leader did not have the power over the group; moreover I would say that the group had a lot of power. Leader defined the problem, highlighted the most important issues, but he was not able to make a decision. We experienced fout major "conflicts": scarce resources (limited time), poor comuunication (people were not sure for what they voting for), personality clashes (people who did well on the exam were driven by different factors than those who did poor), and goal differences (people who did well on the exam did not need the curve but they had to agree for the other to receive it) Because we had conflicts we had to handle them in some way. We used: collaborating, accomodation and compromise. It was a good experience.

Eggs-cellent experiment
hello everybody...
hmm.... eggcellent experiment was a great opportunity to check how does the theory of planning apply to the reality. Even though we - as a group - did not succed, in my opinion we did a good job. First of all, we followed the reguirements and we understood the deadlines. The objectives and the goals were also very clear and obvious (to win and to get five points extra ;). We knew what resources and how much of these resources can be used. We also developed the plan. This step - at least in my opinion - took the greatest amount of time. We developed many plans and many scenerios. Every member in my group had his/her own vision and arguments of how it should be done. As I mentioned before this step took us a lot of time, because we couldn't decide whose plan is the best. When we chose the final option, every member of my group had his/her own ideas of improvement. When it came to build the project every member of my group had his/hers job to do. We did not assigned the job, people chose what they wanted to do. We did everything what we set in our plan. Unfortunately, we lost. But, as I mentioned before I think we did a good job :)

Managing the time
The management problem I am facing right now is: how to manage time efficiently. Since I started college education in Fall 2003 I have the problem how to manage the time. I work full time I am the full time student and it is very hard to find the time to study and for private life. Hmmm .... I don't even have private life :( Even if I find the time the question is: how to use it efficiently. Obviously managing the time is very important in order to receive the best grades as possible. Like other students that have to work to support themselves I have a dilemna how to divide the time among the particular classes. We have determine what classes require the greatest amount of the time to spend on; and what classes need less time. The toughest time during the semester is when the midterms and finals are scheduled. Too much material to remember and at the same time very little amount of time. How the A's student keeps his/hers 3.7 ro higher GPA?? He or she must be genius ;-)
