Class Activity # 2

Decision making process.... Hmmm. Honestly, I did not know hwo hard and streeful can it be. It was very helpful and good experience to be a member of group of eighty people that have to agree on a particular issue. A leader did not have the power over the group; moreover I would say that the group had a lot of power. Leader defined the problem, highlighted the most important issues, but he was not able to make a decision. We experienced fout major "conflicts": scarce resources (limited time), poor comuunication (people were not sure for what they voting for), personality clashes (people who did well on the exam were driven by different factors than those who did poor), and goal differences (people who did well on the exam did not need the curve but they had to agree for the other to receive it) Because we had conflicts we had to handle them in some way. We used: collaborating, accomodation and compromise. It was a good experience.
